Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) has issued notification for
recruitment to West Central Railway for the posts in Group ‘D’ scale.
Applications are invited from candidates for 4517 posts and 135 posts for Physically
Challenged in West Central Railway by Ministry of Railways. The details of the
notification are given below.
Candidates should be minimum SSC pass or ITI or equivalent at the time of applying. Candidates with higher educational qualification can also apply.
Age Details
• UR : between 18 to 33 years as on 01-01-2014
• OBC : between 18 to 36 years as on 01-01-2014
• SC : between 18 to 38 years as on 01-01-2014
Note : Age relaxation will be applicable as per government norms.
How to Apply
Candidates have to apply offline by filling the application in prescribed format and to be sent by Ordinary Post to ;

Fees
Exam fees for Unreserved and OBC candidates is Rs.100/- while SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/PH are exempted from fees. The fees should be paid in the form of Crossed Demand Draft from any Nationalized Bank, or Indian Postal Order from any Post Office, issued after 14-12-2013 and drawn in the favour of “FA & CAO, West Central Railway Jabalpur’ and payable at Jabalpur.
Selection Procedure
Candidates who are found eligible will be issued admit card for Written Test. The Written test will be followed by Physical Efficiency Test. Finally candidates will be called for Verification of Documents and Medical Test.
The Written Exam will be of one and half hours and consisting of 100 marks covering questions on GK, maths and reasoning etc.
