After
the change in IIT-JEE 2013 exam pattern by the Ministry of Human Resource
Development, Many students are clueless regarding the new exam pattern of the
IIT-JEE 2013 exams. In the previous
year, the eligibility criterion for the IIT-JEE and AIEEE was 60 percent but
this year, the whole scenario is changed.
The
new eligibility criteria come to notice for the 2013 students. The IIT-JEE and
AIEEE pattern has been changed now. With the introduction of the common
entrance exams for all engineering courses, a debate started between various
engineering colleges, some colleges were agreed with the new pattern but few
IIT colleges opposed the move.
Some
IIT colleges came forward and neglected to accept the common entrance exam
pattern. After few meeting by MHRD and IIT facilities, the common conclusion
comes to desk i.e. new IIT-JEE 2013 exams eligibility criteria.
The
new exam pattern covers the same eligibility criteria for 2012 students and
introduced new exam pattern for 2013 pass out students. The students who will
pass out class XII in 2013 have to follow
the new eligibility criteria.
According
to the new pattern, student has to be among the top 20 percent among its state
board. If student is among the top 20
percent and easily pass the JEE mains 2013 exams and among the top 1, 50,000
students then he/she is eligible for the JEE advanced 2013 exam.
The
students who are not in top 20 percentile students are also eligible for JEE
mains 2013 exams. The JEE mains 2013 exam is also known as AIEEE 2013 exam and
JEE advanced 2013 exam is known as IIT-JEE 2013 exam.
The students who passed the class XII in 2012 and want to appear in the improvement exam from CBSE then he/she has to appear in all subjects. If any student appears in the partial subjects then the result will not be added to the 2012 passed out marksheet and it would be added to 2013 marksheet.
The
students who are preparing for the IIT-JEE 2013 exams must know the syllabus
of the JEE mains and advanced 2013 exams. The IIT-JEE exams
preparation must be done with the previous year cut-off marks and on the basis
of the previous year cut-off, the IIT-JEE 2013 selection will be done.
