SAIL has issued notification for recruitment in its Durgapur Steel Plant,West Bengal.Wheel & Axle for Railways,Structural for construction and semis in the form of Blooms and Billets are manufactured in DSP.Applications are invited for the non executive post of Operator cum Technician (Trainee) and Attendant cum Technician (Trainee) and Medical Service Provider (Trainee) at Durgapur Steel Plant.Candidates all over India can apply for the desired post.

Education Details
1.Operator cum Technician (Trainee)
Candidates should have completed Diploma in any of the following disciplines from recognized University.Following are the branches Metallurgy,Electrical,Mechanical,Civil,Electronics,Chemical.
2.Attendant cum Technician (Trainee)
Candidate should have completed ITI in any of the following disciplines Electrician,Plumber,Welder,Fitter from recognised University.
3.Medical Service Provider (Trainee)
Candidate should possess full time Bachelor Degree in Paramedical Technology in the field respective to the post or minimum 2 years Diploma in EKG/ECG/TMT/OT.
Eligibility Details
Candidates must have age more 18 years and less than 28 years as on 01/11/2013.Age relaxation will apply to reserved category.For SC/ST age relaxation is of 5 years.For OBC age relaxation is of 3 years.

Selection procedure
Candidates will be called for interview on the basis of written test score.

Candidates who wish to apply for the job should visit SAIL official website www.sail.shine.com. They should click on career options and then click on DSP.Candidates should check their respective branch and then click on the link.At the last of the page there will be apply now option.Click there to apply.
Candidates should upload their recent passport sized photograph and signature lees than 500kb.
Fee Details
Candidates can only pay through challan.The challan can be downloaded after successfully filling of the form.The challan need to be submitted at SBI.
1.Operator cum Technician (Trainee)
For SC/ST/PWD – fees is 50 Rs
For OBC/General – fees is 250 Rs

2.Attendant cum Technician (Trainee)
For SC/ST/PWD – fees is 50 Rs

After the payment of challan candidates should confirm challan on the SAIL website and should download receipt of payment.This receipt should be produced at the time of exam along with challan copy of SAIL.
Training and Probation Details
All the selected candidates will be put under training for the period of 2 years.After completion of training they will be put under S-3 grade and will serve 1 year under probation.
