Staff Selection Committee (SSC) has issued notification for conducting Combined Graduate Level Examination 2014 for recruitment to various posts in Govt. of India Departments. Interested and eligible aspirants should apply for the post before 14-02-2014.

• Statistical Investigators
Note : No of Posts are subjected to change by respective departments and depend on requirement.
Examination
The Combined Graduate Level Examination will be conducted in two levels.
• Tier I exam – for Pay Band –II (9300-34800)
• Tier II exam – for Pay Band – I (5200-20200). The candidates applying for tier-II exam will have to only face Written exam. Interview cum Personality Test is not prescribed.
• Written Exam – the exam will be of 200 marks and a time of 2 hrs will be allotted for the exam.

Age Limit
The age limit for applicant is between 18 to 27 years i.e. the candidates (M/F) should not be born before 02-01-1987 and not after 01-01-1996. Age relaxation will be as per government norms.
Educational Details
Bachelor’s Degree in any stream from a University recognized by government of India. For the post of Statistical Investigator/Compiler, a degree with Math, Economics, Statistic as main subject is necessary.
How to Apply
Candidates should visit SSC official website www.ssc.nic.in for filling the application form for desired post. Candidates can also apply through offline mode by downloading the application form. The candidates need to send the application form along with the CRFS stamp pasted on the back of the form to the address of the respective center.
Fee Details
General/OBC - The fee for examination is Rs.100/- which can be paid trough either Online or Offline mode.
SC/ST/PH/Ex-servicemen candidates are exempted from fees.
Online Mode – Credit/Debit Card issued by SBI in case of Online Application form.
Offline Mode – SBI challan in case of online application form. For offline form (paper form) the payment should be done through Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS) only issued by post office.
