Diplomate National Board – Centralized Entrance Exam 2014

DNB-CET is the nomenclature of qualification awarded by the National Board of Exams for entry to various Post Graduate courses in modern medicine. This test also serves as a bench mark for appointment to teaching posts as lecture/Assistant Professor by the Government of India, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. DNB qualifications are well recognized and accepted as high standard specialist qualifications.

NBE will be conducting DNB CET as a computer based Test from 11^th to 14^th June 2014 at test centers across the country. Candidates who wish to apply for the test should do so by registering themselves with the NBE website before 21 May 2014.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates with MBBS degree and Permanent/Provisional registration certificate of MBBS and have completed one year of internship/likely to complete on or before 31^st July 2014 may apply. Registration with M.C.I/State Medical Council is necessary and its documentary proof has to be furnished at the time of Counseling.

How to Apply?

Candidates should register to take the DNB-CET at www.natboard.edu.in. Click on the "Register for DNB-CET" link.

First time Registration : New Candidates who are registering for the first time should create a new profile by filling the Captcha and clicking on the begin my registration. After submitting the personal details and payment of the fees candidates will be allowed to fill the application form.

Existing Users : Existing Users can directly proceed to fill the application form by loging in to their account through the Username and Password acquired from the earlier registration in the window provided on the left most side.

Candidates must first pay the fees then fill the application form. Candidates should try filling the application form within 15 min or session may get expired. Candidates can edit their application information, get another copy of application form or copy of admit card by visiting DNBCET site. 

Fees Details

The exam for DNB-CET is Rs.4500/- and is inclusive of exam fee and information bulletin voucher. Fees can be paid by using Credit / Debit Cards of any Nationalised Banks or Internet Banking. Select the appropriate option and click on “Make Payment” option. Upon successful authorization of payment, your profile will be registered and you will receive an application email within 24 hours on your registered email id.
